What Is RTS?
The Rehabilitation Technology Service (RTS) supports individuals with disabilities in preparing for, securing, and maintaining employment. We work in partnership with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) to provide technology, assessments, and support tailored to each individual's needs.
Who This Service Is For
This service is available to all DVR consumers across Hawai'i who are referred by their vocational rehabilitation counsellors.
We support individuals with a range of disabilities, including cognitive, visual, hearing and physical or mental health conditions.
How It Works

Referral Through DVR
Your vocational rehabilitation counsellor refers you to ATRC based on your employment goals and needs.

Assessment and Planning
We work with you to understand your needs, identify challenges, and recommend the right assistive technology.

Receive Technology
and Support
You receive the recommended devices along with training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
