Dave Balatico is the Technology Specialist at Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC) of Hawaii. He provides technical support for the organization and manages the ATzone Computer Lab, which is open to the disability community. He’s also able to provide some technical assistance for the different assistive technology available as well as training, such as basic computer skills.
An immigrant from the Philippines, Dave graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. He received his computer certifications in Hawaii at the New Horizons Computer Learning center before joining the ATRC family.

Jodi Asato is the Deputy Director at Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii (ATRC). She has been working at ATRC since December of 2004. As
Deputy Director, she assists in overseeing the overall daily operations of the organization. She is also involved in the management of programs, activities, and services to individuals with disabilities.
Experienced as a special education teacher, she continues her passion to educate and promote the importance of assistive technology to Hawaii’s children, parents, teachers, professionals, and service providers.
Jodi’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Resources from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Student Development Administration from Seattle University.

Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong, M.Ed., is the Executive Director of ATRC. Since joining Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii in September 1993, Barbara has been responsible for developing and implementing a program that links individuals with disabilities to technology so that all people can participate in every aspect of community life. She has been an administrator since 1984, managing budgets of two million dollars or more.
As a person with a disability, she uses assistive technology in the workplace and at home. She is a nationally recognized advocate for persons with disabilities and employs a knowledgeable and assertive leadership style to accomplish the goals and objectives of numerous projects.
Barbara is responsible for drafting Hawaii's Warranty Act, which protects purchasers of assistive technology in the state, the implementation of administration policy through the legislature that establishes that all state departments must include assistive technology language in all appropriate policies and is a consultant to various state departments and legislators on disability and assistive technology issues.

Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii (ATRC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, resource center that provides access to assistive technology (AT) for people with disabilities of all ages, enabling independence and participation in every aspect of community life, including employment and education.
ATRC offers free programs to the community. These programs are geared to the education of individuals with disabilities, friends and family members, professionals, institutions and anyone else interested in assistive technology.
As a resource center, ATRC's mission is to link persons with technology and as such, ATRC will utilize demonstrations, outreach, technical assistance, public awareness, device loans and trials, financial loans and other programs to meet that mission. ATRC unbiased opinion regarding Assistive Technology provides the community with a broader overview of what is available and how it works.
